What you will do
- Analyze production data and implement time and line balancing to optimize efficiency and reduce cycle time.
- Partner with product formulation, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and readiness for launch.
- Create work instructions, process maps, and visual aids using AutoCAD, Visio, and SolidWorks for assembly setups.
- Develop and maintain PFMEA, control plans, and standardized work documentation aligned with ISO requirements.
- Lead lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, value stream mapping) and identify automation/digital manufacturing opportunities.
- Run continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma and DMAIC; resolve production/quality gaps using RCA, 8D, and corrective action plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in an automotive, heavy machinery, industrial electronics manufacturing & assembly environment.
- Proven experience delivering at least one full product launch and/or one full lean implementation program.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Work authorization: must be authorized to work in the job posting location on a full-time basis without current or future visa sponsorship.
