Salary: $235,000 - $350,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with product vision and company objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior technical staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the delivery of complex, large-scale projects ensuring quality, security, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Product and Security stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering effectiveness and team health.
• Represent the engineering organization in executive forums and communicate progress and risks.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead at scale, managing multiple teams or departments.
• Deep expertise in engineering management, technical architecture, and operational excellence.
• Experience building cybersecurity products within a SaaS environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with executive presence.
• Must be based in or able to work from Sunnyvale, CA; New York City, NY; or Austin, TX (hybrid schedule).

Nice to have

• 15+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience building distributed systems processing events at millions/sec scale.
• Proven track record of shipping LLM-native features or applications.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and data science.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
