What you will do

• Lead multiple backend and frontend engineering teams responsible for high-volume, low-latency decision intelligence execution.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define business strategy and feature requirements.
• Continuously improve engineering practices to support efficiency, reliability, and serviceability goals.
• Coach and mentor engineering leaders and individual contributors while fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Participate in customer-facing technology discussions and collaborate with technology suppliers.
• Drive the platform toward modern software design patterns, open-source software, and cloud-native architectures.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Extensive experience designing and operating commercial software integrating AI/ML algorithms with real-time data processing.
• Proven leadership experience managing global software teams developing in TypeScript, Java, and Python.
• Deep expertise in event-driven and microservice architectures.
• Technical proficiency across public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience with the full software lifecycle, from authoring to production observation.

Nice to have

• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed processing platforms such as Storm, Flink, or Spark.
• Experience with diverse database technologies and integrating numerical programming.
