What you will do

• Partner with business lines to perform taxability analysis for products and offerings.
• Review and maintain tax technology systems to ensure documentation reflects current business needs.
• Enable and optimize tax technology functions to support growth and new initiatives.
• Conduct technical tax research and interpret guidance from tax authorities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation, including the use of AI tools.
• Collaborate with finance teams and external advisors to explain complex tax concepts.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 3+ years of professional tax work experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong modeling and data analytics capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess tax risk and develop recommendations.

Nice to have

• Masters in Tax or CPA certification.
• Experience with indirect tax.
• Experience with Avalara.
