What you will do

• Prepare and reconcile transactional sales/use tax returns for multiple legal entities.
• Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations for sales and use tax.
• Respond to inquiries and provide supporting documentation for transactional tax audits.
• Conduct preliminary tax research and taxation forms using online tools.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with tax law and optimize processes.
• Participate in projects to identify and implement process improvements and internal controls.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in transactional compliance, audits, or related accounting work.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functionality (pivot tables, data querying).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Riverwoods, IL or Philadelphia, PA.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or Digitized/Online Products.
• Experience with third-party outsourced compliance.
• Knowledge of CCH Research, SAP, Vertex JDE, or NetSuite.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 (PowerPoint, OneDrive, Access).
