TL;DR

Salary: $166,000 - $245,000

What you will do

  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual indirect tax compliance obligations.
  • Deliver global accounting and reporting of indirect taxes for financial statements.
  • Assess and mitigate indirect tax risks while recommending optimizations through technology and automation.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance understanding of indirect tax requirements.
  • Develop and implement solutions for complex technical tax matters, including drafting position papers.
  • Support the development of indirect tax strategies aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in US sales and use tax compliance and technical advisory.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience implementing AI tools into daily workflows.
  • Proficiency in financial software, specifically Netsuite and Fonoa.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Canadian and LATAM indirect taxes.
  • Experience working in both private and public companies.
