What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Development professionals to ensure their success.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand Canva's presence in the North American region.
- Identify and encourage strategic partnerships and business opportunities that drive growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to provide expansion insights.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers, clients, and industry partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development with a consistent record of success in North America.
- Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in the technology, SaaS, or a related industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Must be based in Austin, Texas
