• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Development professionals to ensure their success.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand Canva's presence in the North American region.
• Identify and encourage strategic partnerships and business opportunities that drive growth and revenue.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to provide expansion insights.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers, clients, and industry partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business development with a consistent record of success in North America.
• Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience in the technology, SaaS, or a related industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Must be based in Austin, Texas
