TL;DR

Snr Account Mgr (Academic Sales): Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior decision makers, identify and close new sales opportunities, and drive revenue growth across assigned customer accounts with an accent on consultative, solution-oriented selling and managing the full sales cycle. Focus on creating targeted proposals, tracking pipeline and weekly forecasts in CRM, and resolving issues with internal partners to maximize customer satisfaction.

Location: Beijing (base in Beijing/Shenzheng/Guangzhou)

What you will do

  • Grow pipeline through active account management and execution of a strategic account plan
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through close
  • Create targeted, solution-oriented proposals with appropriate positioning and pricing for software and services
  • Develop and track pipeline in assigned accounts using CRM and provide weekly forecast and opportunity progression
  • Drive customer satisfaction by working with clients and internal partners on issue resolution
  • Represent the product portfolio via speaking engagements, industry events, and trade shows

Requirements

  • University degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Technical aptitude with computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team selling environment
  • Functional knowledge of negotiation process
  • Solid understanding of solution selling value proposition and strong interpersonal/presentation skills
