Engineering NPD Manager (Water Safety)

What you will do

• Lead full-lifecycle new product development (NPD) from concept through pilot builds and launch.
• Drive technical innovation in mechanical design, fluid dynamics, and valve optimization using CFD.
• Manage NPD schedules, budgets, and cross-functional team accountability.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define technical value propositions and balance customer needs with constraints.
• Approve critical engineering deliverables including specs, drawings, DFMEAs, and verification reports.
• Mentor junior engineers in advanced mechanical and fluid-dynamic principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of product development experience, specifically in fluid-handling or valve applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably AutoDesk Inventor.
• Strong experience with DFM, DFA, and program accounting.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects independently.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience collaborating with overseas development teams and manufacturing partners.
• Familiarity with copper alloy, iron casting, plastics, and plastic molding for water systems.
