Engineering Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Mineral Wells, TX. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Salary: $25.00–$32.00 Hourly

What you will do

• Perform routine engineering tests, measurements, and evaluations for aerospace products.
• Build test setups, wiring harnesses, mechanical fixtures, and prototype assemblies.
• Execute environmental and functional testing aligned with aerospace standards (temperature, vibration, EMI).
• Assist with equipment, sensor, and wiring installation on aircraft and support test flights.
• Record test results and maintain detailed configuration logs and documentation.
• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data loggers.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or avionics principles.
• Ability to use hand tools, measurement devices, and basic test equipment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in an engineering or product testing environment.
• Exposure to aerospace testing standards (DO-160, DO-178, MIL-STD).
• Familiarity with aircraft systems or previous work on aircraft installations.
• Experience with data acquisition equipment and electronics assembly.
