What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design, and deployment of secure, scalable AI-powered software solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of Software Developers and Data Scientists to foster technical excellence.
• Lead the delivery of AI-enabled products and features to improve user experience for millions of customers.
• Advocate for AI adoption internally and help teams improve AI literacy and responsible usage.
• Establish best practices for AI-Native development, including CI/CD, automated testing, and production readiness.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and align technical work with business goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Post-secondary education in Computing Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Practical experience delivering AI-enabled products with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Strong understanding of AI subject matters such as NLP, RAG, agentic workflows, and prompt engineering.
• Ability to manage project schedules, resources, and delivery expectations effectively.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of the existing tech stack: C#, .NET 7+, Vue, TypeScript, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Experience with organizational change management or developer enablement initiatives.
