TL;DR

Director of Engineering (AI): Leading the flagship Incentive Compensation Management product to build AI-first capabilities and scalable platforms with an accent on product strategy and organizational growth. Focus on scaling high-performing engineering teams and integrating AI to create differentiated customer experiences.

Location: Remote (Toronto / USA). Must be eligible to work in the US or Canada (E-Verify participant).

What you will do

  • Develop and execute the engineering strategy for a portfolio of ICM initiatives, aligning with company priorities and AI direction.
  • Recruit, grow, and inspire high-performing engineering organizations, developing managers and senior technical leaders.
  • Guide architectural and organizational decisions to balance speed, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Drive alignment, prioritization, and execution across Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM teams.
  • Create clarity in ambiguous environments and manage high-level stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of experience leading managers and multi-team engineering organizations.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams and owning products end-to-end.
  • Experience or strong aptitude in leveraging AI/ML to create differentiated product experiences.
  • Strong technical instincts regarding product architecture, infrastructure, and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for working with executive leadership.
