Salary: $160,000 - $225,000 USD / $175,000 - $220,000 CAD

What you will do

• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to define impactful solutions and deliver valuable products to market.
• Facilitate technical discovery and guide engineers as product designs and implementation plans solidify.
• Manage and support a high-performing team, focusing on an inclusive, growth-oriented, and outcome-focused culture.
• Balance investment between sustaining established products and delivering new real-time operational capabilities.
• Collaborate with partner product teams to ensure cohesive integration with mobile, embedded, and backend systems.
• Integrate AI tooling into the software development lifecycle to drive team efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in engineering team leadership and people management.
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end products in cloud-based SaaS environments.
• Broad technical experience across the stack (frontend, backend, data).
• Must be based in the US, Ontario, or British Columbia (Canada).
• No Visa sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, JavaScript, Vue.js, Postgres, or Java.
• Familiarity with real-time data systems (WebSockets, pub/sub, streaming data pipelines).
• Experience with map-based or geospatial web applications (MapLibre, Mapbox, Leaflet).
