What you will do

• Lead and supervise the SMA team at assigned sites.
• Plan and execute O&M schedules and coordinate site activities according to maintenance plans.
• Commission, troubleshoot, and repair inverters, DC arrays, AC collector systems, and MV equipment.
• Develop detailed expertise in PV plant commercial inverter products and associated accessories.
• Operate the plant using SCADA, remote desktop software, and third-party monitoring systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to local and national safety and electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, electronic, and network communications.
• Prior experience in the solar energy industry (strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Ability to work with high voltage DC electricity and three phase power.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory position.
• Knowledge of solar and alternative energy markets.
• German and/or Spanish language skills.
