What you will do

• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls for the inverter fleet.
• Lead technical projects to enhance asset performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis for ad hoc and chronic incidents and develop recovery plans.
• Monitor new technology innovations and provide recommendations for project design teams.
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures and standard operating procedures for O&M teams.
• Evaluate proposed settings changes for grid interconnection, performance, and safety implications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field required.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in high-voltage design, solar design, battery energy storage, or power systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage concurrent duties.
• Proficiency in process improvement, business performance, and power electronics.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 35%.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data acquisition systems and SCADA.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Knowledge of NERC compliance.
