What you will do

• Design all aspects of Photovoltaic (PV) Electrical Power Systems, including string sizing, array layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform power system studies for utility-scale PV plants, including short circuit, load flow, and arc flash analysis.
• Review equipment data sheets, manuals, and testing reports for design approvals.
• Prepare project documentation such as cost estimates, budget reports, and technical studies.
• Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and detailed observation reports.
• Verify the quality and accuracy of work produced by designers and drafters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 3–6+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Knowledge of medium and low voltage distribution, switchgear, and industrial instrumentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice to have

• FE or PE licensure.
• Proficiency with power system software such as EasyPower, ETAP, SKM, or CYMCAP.
• Experience with PVsyst and other PV-specific software packages.
