What you will do

• Answer calls and emails from the mortgage lending industry and the public about FHA guidelines and procedures.
• Use mortgage knowledge and internal databases to research and resolve client requests.
• Follow standard operating procedures across multiple systems and contact channels.
• Document customer contacts and maintain accurate records in a database.
• Stay current on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience working with FHA loans, plus one year of customer service or contact center experience; alternatively, three years of loan origination experience with conventional or other government-backed loans.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and search tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and dependability.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation.

Nice to have

• Omnichannel contact center experience.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills.
• Additional FHA knowledge or experience.
