What you will do
- Manage the full renewal lifecycle: defend existing accounts, maintain high retention, and drive year-over-year price uplifts and contract restructuring.
- Use MEDDPICC to qualify renewal opportunities, identify risks early, and ensure accurate pipeline and revenue forecasting in Salesforce.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to monitor account health and usage, and use CSM “value stories” to justify commercial expansions.
- Lead stakeholder engagement with economic buyers and champions, run business reviews, and support account planning for at-risk revenue.
- Identify expansion opportunities (seat expansions and module up-sells) and share customer feedback with Product and Commercial teams to influence roadmap decisions.
- Coach peers on renewal methodology and best practices, including navigating the “paper process” and selecting metrics that support price increases.
Requirements
- Manage end-to-end renewals for Health Science Solutions, focusing on long-term retention and expansion.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with C-level stakeholders and conduct regular business reviews to demonstrate ROI.
- Maintain expert competitive intelligence to defend market share during renewal negotiations.
- Synthesize customer feedback related to user experience (UX) and navigation, and communicate development requests and feature gaps to Commercial and Product teams.
- Demonstrate strong consultative selling in complex B2B environments and negotiation excellence for at-risk accounts and multi-year contract restructurings.
- Use MEDDPICC (or similar) for deal qualification and forecasting accuracy, with strong analytical and CRM (Salesforce) skills.
