What you will do

  • Develop and execute a cohesive commercial strategy across the entire ecosystem, including product, subscriptions, advertising, and events.
  • Partner with Product and Monetization teams to identify and scale features with high commercial potential while maintaining user trust.
  • Structure and negotiate large-scale, integrated partnerships with global brands in finance, technology, and consumer goods.
  • Define how the platform packages its audience and content into compelling propositions for global brand partners.
  • Provide leadership and strategic alignment for Business Development and Events teams to ensure pipeline health and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Content and Community teams to ensure commercial activations feel authentic and additive to the user experience.

Requirements

  • Must be based in USA, Canada, or EMEA for team alignment and business needs.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, or digital media with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex deals with global brands.
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising, inventory strategy, and product-integrated partnerships.
  • Experience operating at the intersection of product, content, and monetization.
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams and drive accountability across cross-functional organizations.

Nice to have

  • Background in gaming, esports, or passion-driven communities.
  • Experience working with creators, influencers, or talent partnerships.
  • Familiarity with live events and broadcast environments.
  • Experience operating in a founder-led, fast-moving organization.
