Senior Major & Strategic Account Executive (SaaS): Managing high-profile strategic accounts and driving revenue growth for cloud-based tax and accounting software solutions with an accent on consultative sales and complex contract negotiations. Focus on building long-term client relationships, executing strategic sales plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver integrated workflow solutions.

Location: Must be based in TX, TN, AL, LA, or MS. This is a remote position with up to 50% travel required.

Compensation: $89,600 - $157,000 USD base salary plus commission.

What you will do

  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with high-profile strategic clients.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within major accounts.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and strategic sales plans to drive revenue.
  • Oversee coordination between clients and internal teams to ensure service delivery.
  • Analyze complex client data to inform and adjust sales strategies.
  • Negotiate high-impact product and service terms with autonomy.

Requirements

  • Must be based in TX, TN, AL, LA, or MS.
  • 6+ years of direct B2B field sales experience with Enterprise SaaS or software solutions.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Proficiency in consultative sales, needs assessment, and virtual/in-person presentations.
  • Experience working within a multi-division or matrix sales organization.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM applications.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling SaaS solutions to the Tax and Accounting industry.
  • Working knowledge of tax and accounting concepts and firm operations.
  • Formalized sales training (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger Sales).
