What you will do

• Lead and manage complex projects in materials and structural engineering aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and implement engineering standards for material selection, characterization, and structural integrity.
• Use FEA simulation tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS) to evaluate products for static/dynamic loads, human comfort, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to solve complex technical problems.
• Apply Lean and sustainability principles to improve product robustness and lifecycle performance.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to peer engineers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Materials, Structural, or Simulation (CAE) Engineer.
• Expertise in structural analysis, machine design, and sustainable product design.
• Proficiency in engineering software, specifically ANSYS, ABAQUS, and CREO.
• Strong knowledge of material testing and non-linear material behavior.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Exposure to model-based simulation (MBSE), digital twins, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience with Failure Analysis and Root Cause Investigation.
• Hands-on experience in a test lab environment.
• Deep knowledge of Lean principles and advanced problem-solving methodologies.
