What you will do

• Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering projects from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed engineering specifications and 3D models.
• Coordinate product evaluation and certification with Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs).
• Develop and document comprehensive test plans, including thermal, dielectric, and seismic testing.
• Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) concepts in partnership with manufacturing engineering.
• Conduct failure analysis on existing products to identify and implement design improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in designing low or medium voltage power distribution equipment.
• BSME degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience with NRTL (UL, CSA) evaluation and certification processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as UL 891, 1558, 508A, and IEEE C37.20.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for testing and development support.
