Sr. Product Manager - Advanced Research (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid in Sunnyvale, California, USA; willingness to travel up to 20% to customer and CrowdStrike locations worldwide.

Base salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year for U.S. candidates, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Define and maintain the strategy and product roadmap for threat detection engines and detection content.
• Partner with engineering teams to build and maintain highly technical, broadly scoped infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with malware research, data science, and engineering teams to analyze threat trends and deliver defenses.
• Develop go-to-market strategies, messaging, positioning, benefits, and target personas with Marketing.
• Work with Sales and Support to champion releases and guide future product direction.
• Conduct competitive analysis and collaborate with product professionals across the company.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in Detection Content, SIEM, XDR, Cloud Security, Identity, or related security segments.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, quantitative and business analysis skills, and prioritization ability.
• Experience collaborating with research, engineering, product marketing, and local and remote teams.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• BA or BS degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience.

• Knowledge of cloud security products and the threat landscape.
