Location: Hybrid role based in Chicago or Evanston, Illinois, United States, with work from home and on-site presence at clients or offices for the majority of the week. Client-facing travel is required as needed.
Salary: $185,000–$197,500 per year, plus potential cost-of-living adjustments, bonuses, leave policies, relocation benefits, insurance, and retirement benefits.

What you will do
- Own the requirements and delivery roadmap for incentive compensation capabilities such as plan design, sales crediting, eligibility, roster management, data reconciliation, goal-setting, and field support.
- Translate business and client needs into detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and buildable product specifications.
- Partner with AI/ML, data engineering, design, architecture, and engineering teams to scope agent-enabled features, tool and data access, evaluation criteria, and auditability.
- Conduct discovery with client incentive compensation and commercial operations stakeholders, prioritize the backlog, and manage requirement changes through delivery.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, clarify requirements, resolve ambiguity, and sign off on acceptance criteria.
- Monitor production agent performance, support implementations and migrations, and communicate product decisions, trade-offs, and risks to internal and client stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of B2B SaaS or enterprise software product management experience, ideally in life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of incentive compensation concepts or the ability to ramp quickly in a complex domain.
- Practical understanding of AI agent development, including tool use, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Experience writing detailed engineering requirements and user stories, working in Agile environments, and collaborating with engineering, design, data science, professional services, and client success.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with APIs, ETL, data contracts, architecture diagrams, data flows, and enterprise integrations.
Nice to have
- MBA or advanced quantitative degree.
- Experience with life sciences commercial data such as Rx, claims, specialty pharmacy, sample, and alignment data.
- Experience mentoring junior product managers or analysts.
