What you will do

• Manage export and import compliance activities across all global business locations.
• Oversee internal controls and protocols documented in the Technology Control Plan and Data Control Plan.
• Manage deemed exports, prohibited end users, restricted party screening, and transaction screening protocols.
• Classify products, software, and technology under applicable U.S. and international export and customs regulations.
• Establish compliance protocols, training, audit programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide trade regulatory guidance to business teams and oversee outsourced trade compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in trade compliance covering both export and import matters.
• Proven ability to interpret U.S. and international trade regulations and apply them to business and R&D activities.
• Experience with global trade automation solutions and technology control plan management.
• Expertise in HS classification, customs valuation, country of origin determinations, and export license applications.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable U.S. law.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, specifically encryption products under EAR Category 5 Part 2 and Category 3.
