What you will do
- Manage export and import compliance activities across all global business locations.
- Oversee internal controls and protocols documented in the Technology Control Plan and Data Control Plan.
- Manage deemed exports, prohibited end users, restricted party screening, and transaction screening protocols.
- Classify products, software, and technology under applicable U.S. and international export and customs regulations.
- Establish compliance protocols, training, audit programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide trade regulatory guidance to business teams and oversee outsourced trade compliance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in trade compliance covering both export and import matters.
- Proven ability to interpret U.S. and international trade regulations and apply them to business and R&D activities.
- Experience with global trade automation solutions and technology control plan management.
- Expertise in HS classification, customs valuation, country of origin determinations, and export license applications.
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable U.S. law.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, specifically encryption products under EAR Category 5 Part 2 and Category 3.
