TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Shakopee, MN (US)

Salary: $120,144–$176,211 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and implement import customs policies in partnership with Trade Compliance.
  • Lead the trade operations team, providing technical direction and managing performance.
  • Oversee global broker management, including performance standards and compliance metrics.
  • Manage duty reduction programs such as USMCA, GSP, and duty drawback.
  • Evaluate import risks and identify cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with Legal.
  • Represent trade operations in supply chain, manufacturing, and new product development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Compliance, Import/Export Operations, or Logistics.
  • Active Customs Broker License required.
  • Operational knowledge of OGA, Census Bureau (AES), ATA Carnets, and HTS classifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
