What you will do

• Design, analyze, and test complex mechanical parts and assemblies using Creo and Ansys.
• Translate ID concepts into mass-producible products while ensuring quality, cost, and user experience.
• Lead the development and qualification of plastic tooling, including design debug.
• Partner with global manufacturing teams and suppliers to optimize designs for mass production.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap and implement new modules or platforms.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to enhance team technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for high-volume consumer electronics.
• Expert proficiency in Creo and Ansys; CAE is a must.
• Deep knowledge of injection molding, plastic tooling, and metal punch tool design.
• Proficiency in quality tools: DFMEA, DFMA, DoE, and Tolerance analysis.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with Audio/Video products and working with global ODM, JDM, and CM models.
• Availability to travel up to 30%.
