What you will do

  • Manage core process development teams in the design and execution of experiments for advanced silicon transistor technology.
  • Lead device and process engineers to develop high-volume capable technology meeting performance, yield, and reliability requirements.
  • Perform extensive Silicon-to-Simulation analysis and layout effect validation to ensure high-quality PDK delivery.
  • Collaborate with foundry technology engineering groups to maximize product performance for customers.
  • Define robust test structures and programs to validate design rules and extract key device parameters.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data mining techniques to derive insights from electrical-test and fab data.

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Electrical Engineering (EE), ECE, or EECS related to the semiconductor field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the advanced node semiconductor industry.
  • Expertise in semiconductor materials, fabrication, and device physics.
  • Proficiency in electrical characterization of semiconductor devices.
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, or Octave.
  • Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, SQL, C/C++, or similar languages.

Nice to have

  • Experience with advanced transistor device structures and device physics.
  • Knowledge of process monitoring test structure design and layout.
  • Familiarity with device and circuit simulation.
  • Expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
