What you will do

• Develop, characterize, and optimize molding processes and equipment for backend assembly.
• Own process performance, yield, and equipment stability in a high-volume production environment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on molding topics within cross-functional teams.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and smooth ramp-up into High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex molding-related issues involving compound behavior and tooling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with a strong focus on molding.
• Strong understanding of backend assembly molding processes and defect mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with molding tooling and statistical analysis tools like DOE, SPC, and FMEA.
• Excellent communication skills with a good command of English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lauffer molding systems.
• Experience supporting BIM lines.
• Knowledge of PLC or system-level understanding.
