What you will do

• Define and establish process flows, FMEA assessments, and equipment configurations for NPI products.
• Develop and optimize material and equipment recipes to meet quality, reliability, and yield requirements.
• Plan and execute experiments to characterize processes throughout the development cycle.
• Qualify new thermal interface materials and resolve complex failure modes.
• Establish process control systems and sustain modules through volume ramp.
• Train production engineers and support factory start-ups and line qualifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Physics, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, or Materials Engineering.
• Involvement in research and development within assembly and packaging.
• Knowledge of statistical design of experiments and problem-solving techniques.
• Must be able to work on-site in Kulim, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience in process development and equipment engineering in the semiconductor field.
• Experience with lid/IHS, stiffener attach, and dispensing processes.
• Proficiency in data science tools like JMP or SQL.
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in manufacturing.
