What you will do
- Lead complex requirements elicitation across CMS stakeholders and business units.
- Define enterprise functional, non-functional, data, and governance requirements.
- Manage traceability from requirements through testing, deployment, and operations.
- Analyze and redesign case management workflows covering intake, eligibility, triage, case lifecycle management, reporting, and outcomes tracking.
- Partner with architects, engineers, and Product Owners on data models, APIs, reporting frameworks, and strategic backlog priorities.
- Facilitate workshops, solution reviews, stakeholder briefings, compliance reviews, and audit-readiness activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, IT, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of Business Analysis experience, including leadership of large-scale case management or healthcare IT implementations.
- 3+ years supporting federal healthcare programs, with direct CMS experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced requirements elicitation, facilitation, BPMN, workflow design, data analysis, mapping, and governance experience.
- Strong Agile delivery, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Nice to have
- Experience with CDA, HL7, or FHIR healthcare data formats.
- SAFe, Scrum, or other Agile certifications.
