What you will do

• Lead end-to-end site selection processes for new data center facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive market assessments including power, fiber, and regulatory feasibility.
• Manage colocation provider relationships, including RFP processes, contract negotiations, and SLA monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to validate site technical requirements and development timelines.
• Perform risk assessments related to natural hazards, geopolitical factors, and utility reliability.
• Support finance teams with CapEx/OpEx modeling and business case development.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in site selection, real estate development, or data center infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data center power, cooling, and network requirements.
• Proven experience in evaluating colocation providers and negotiating complex leases or SLAs.
• Analytical proficiency in market research, cost modeling, and risk assessment.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale or large-scale data center development.
• Knowledge of utility procurement, renewable energy markets, and substation planning.
• Familiarity with geospatial tools (GIS) and capacity planning.
• Understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
