Wind Project Engineer

Salary: $108,000–$145,000 USD/year plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Perform due diligence and feasibility studies for potential M&A wind projects.
• Lead project planning, site selection, and preliminary design efforts.
• Develop balance of plant (BOP) designs including foundations, electrical collection, and substations.
• Optimize turbine placement and site layouts through micro-siting activities.
• Review and negotiate turbine supply and construction agreements.
• Oversee construction quality, safety compliance, and change order management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in wind system design, development, and construction.
• EIT or PE qualification (FE exam required).
• OSHA 10-hr or comparable job-site safety certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Civil 3D, ETAP, PSSE, and PSCAD.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify employer).
