TL;DR
Lead Procurement Analyst (Aerospace): Sourcing and managing materials, tooling, equipment, and services for new product introduction and jet propulsion manufacturing with an accent on supplier evaluation, inventory planning, and procurement risk management. Focus on coordinating first-time buys, monitoring supplier performance, resolving shortages and quality issues, and improving sourcing processes for aerospace production.

Location: Onsite at the Centennial, Colorado facility, United States

Salary: $138,000–$157,000 base salary per year

What you will do

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using procurement data in partnership with Manufacturing Programs and Engineering.
  • Source materials, components, tooling, equipment, and services for prototype, development, production, and NPI requirements.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, coordinate first-time buys, and support make-or-buy analysis and supplier selection.
  • Monitor supplier lead times, expedite hardware, and identify risks to program milestones.
  • Establish stocking levels, reorder points, and replenishment processes for critical shop supplies.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve shortages, late deliveries, quality issues, and other performance concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, buying, or inventory planning in a technical purchasing role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, supplier management, and analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience in aerospace or industrial industries and knowledge of government compliance regulations for sourcing.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication, and cross-functional relationship management skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.
