Supply Chain Trainee

Supply Chain Trainee (Logistics): Optimizing short to mid-term forecasts and customer allocations for the European region with an accent on data-driven decision making, automation, and AI. Focus on collaborating across Demand, Supply, and Finance teams to resolve financial plan gaps and manage critical SKU performance.

What you will do

• Collaborate on mid to long term forecasts with Demand and Supply planning to identify trend breaks and prepare for NPI launches.
• Work with Category Marketing and Finance to identify gaps in the financial plan and implement corrective actions for focus SKUs.
• Partner with the Customer Collaboration team to align on logistic capabilities and track planned promotions.
• Analyze customer ordering behavior versus forecasts to improve service levels and pricing.
• Support Planners in day-to-day operations while improving existing supply chain processes.

Requirements

• Recently graduated Master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Strong understanding of demand planning and logistics.
• Proficiency in Office applications and data query languages such as SQL or R.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills with a results-driven approach.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across global and local teams.
• Must be based in or able to work from Utrecht, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with Supply Chain AI solutions and automation.
