What you will do

• Perform customs and export control classifications of products and technologies.
• Determine country of origin in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Handle legal control blocks using systems such as SAP GTS and Oracle GTM.
• Maintain and improve the master classification database.
• Act as the primary internal specialist for classification-related questions.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of experience in customs and export control classification.
• Experience with product classification, preferably in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of United States export control regulations.
• Legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in the US Export Administration Regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP GTS, or Oracle GTM.
• Experience working in international and multidisciplinary teams.
