What you will do
- Own operational and tactical account management of 3PLs and last-mile partners, enforcing SLAs, processes, and costs through MBRs/QBRs and daily escalations.
- Drive continuous improvement roadmaps with 3PLs and improve post-purchase/delivery customer experience using care metrics.
- Control end-to-end logistics operational costs in close collaboration with Finance, ensuring adherence to budget parameters.
- Lead and develop a team of Logistics Specialists, ensuring daily output, engagement, performance metrics, and tactical capability alignment.
- Deliver accurate weekly/monthly operational reporting and translate order fulfilment and carrier data into actionable updates and risk-mitigation plans.
- Coordinate implementation of new logistics vendors, operating models, and tools/processes as needed.
Requirements
- Solid experience in e-commerce operations, supply chain, or tactical logistics, ideally in fast-moving B2C food, grocery, or perishable goods environments.
- Proven account management experience with 3PLs and last-mile carriers, including rigorous SLA enforcement and vendor accountability.
- People management experience leading, coaching, and managing daily output of an operations/logistics team.
- Strong analytical skills to deep-dive into operational data, identify root causes of supply chain friction, and implement tactical solutions.
- Fluent in English and fluent in either Dutch or German (Cluster North).
Nice to have
- Experience managing multi-market or pan-European operational logistics networks.
- Hands-on familiarity with ERP, WMS, TMS, and OMS systems and their operational integrations.
