What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and underwrite new and renewal commercial surety bonds.
• Evaluate risk associated with bond applications while adhering to underwriting philosophy.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with independent agents and brokers.
• Price, quote, and negotiate terms and conditions for commercial accounts.
• Interpret legal documents, statutes, and insurance regulations to ensure compliance.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of industry experience.
• US Work Authorization required (no sponsorship provided).
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Strong ability to analyze bond applications and make objective decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight for agent meetings or industry events.
