What you will do

• Underwrite new and renewal homeowners' lines of business.
• Analyze risk information and provide recommendations for inspections and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with claims, billing, and customer support departments to resolve queries.
• Communicate with distribution partners and leadership to manage underwriting matters.
• Suggest improvements for underwriting processes to managers and technology teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in P&C Homeowners underwriting.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong technical underwriting, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Must be based in or able to work in Austin or Dallas, TX.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience in California (CA) and Texas (TX) markets.
• Wildfire and catastrophic underwriting experience.
