Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Chicago or Los Angeles. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000

What you will do

• Underwrite, price, and negotiate commercial general liability and professional liability accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong broker relationships across the Mid-West and West Coast regions.
• Collaborate with the national A&E team to share knowledge and drive production.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and exceed quote output targets.
• Travel regionally up to 25% for industry events and broker visits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in contractors, real estate developers, or design professional E&O coverage.
• Strong sales, presentation, and negotiation skills with a competitive drive.
• Proven track record of delivering meaningful underwriting profit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% within the Mid-West and West Coast regions.
