What you will do

• Direct the assessment, underwriting, and pricing of complex property and casualty commercial insurance risks.
• Review insurance applications to accurately gauge the degree of risk involved.
• Develop innovative underwriting strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and senior management to manage and grow the client base.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of property, casualty, or life underwriting experience.
• Proven track record of managing large accounts.
• Ability to forge and maintain strong broker and carrier relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, admitted/non-admitted regulations, and market trends.
• Must be based in Madison, WI for hybrid work or qualify as an exceptional remote candidate.
