Salary: $175,000–$220,000 Annually

What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 20 engineers, managing staffing and performance.
- Define and control project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and technical baselines.
- Contribute directly to active projects, including circuit design and hardware verification, for roughly 50% of the time.
- Guide products through full lifecycle phases from design and verification to production and sustainment.
- Collaborate with program leadership, customers, and suppliers to ensure mission-critical requirements are met.
- Ensure adherence to rigorous engineering processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related field required.
- 10+ years of electronics design experience in aerospace or defense industries.
- 5+ years of people or technical leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience with analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware verification.
- Familiarity with MIL/avionics standards (MIL-STD, DO-160, AS9100).
- Ability to obtain and maintain active security clearance (ITAR awareness required).
Nice to have
- Experience with low-SWaP and ruggedized design for harsh environments.
- Familiarity with DO-178/DO-254 safety-critical software/hardware concepts.
- Experience in supplier management and contract evaluation.
