Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and scale the Mac Sensor engineering team with an open, collaborative management style.
• Define and deliver on the Mac sensor product roadmap and coordinate with other product groups on architecture, releases, support, and best practices.
• Drive delivery of customer-facing endpoint security features, including static analysis-based detection and prevention, custom behavioral detections (custom IOAs), automated remediation, firewall management, and removable device control.
• Provide technical leadership: mentor direct reports, share Mac sensor architecture knowledge, and guide resilient engineering practices.
• Hire, onboard, and manage staffing across features and projects to support growth and cross-training.
• Monitor execution and quality of team projects in a fast-paced, test-driven, iterative environment.

Requirements

• Hybrid location requirement: 2-3 days per week on-site at one of the posted locations in the USA
• 3+ years of experience managing and scaling product engineering teams.
• 5+ years of prior experience in software development.
• Experience shipping major features and releases with cross-functional teams.
• Computer science degree or equivalent experience developing system software on macOS with C++ and Swift.
• Knowledge of low-level macOS internals and experience debugging memory corruptions, process contention, and/or system performance.

Nice to have

• Experience building scalable, lightweight, high-performance systems.
• Experience with shared cross-platform code and deliverables (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Cybersecurity background.
• Familiarity with Agile processes.
