What you will do
- Develop long-term software strategies and roadmaps for the TeraWave satellite constellation.
- Recruit, structure, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team for flight and terminal software.
- Lead the design, development, and validation of embedded software for optical and RF communication payloads.
- Collaborate with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure software reliability and space-grade compliance.
- Define software architecture from initial prototyping through to high-volume production.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, including 6+ years in technical leadership.
- 4+ years of experience in space flight avionics or software development.
- Proven success bringing complex connected software from prototype to production deployment.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in software or electrical engineering.
- Experience with satellite communications and bus software.
- Experience with software and data security.
