What you will do
- Lead technical training for operations and maintenance personnel at assigned facilities.
- Manage the competency management system and report on qualification status and compliance.
- Design and develop training materials and competency maps to close technical skill gaps.
- Coordinate apprenticeship and entry-level training programs to ensure procedural compliance.
- Collaborate with facility management and safety teams to support operational excellence and LEAN initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training and qualification records using SharePoint and Learning Management Systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training development or competency management.
- Technical training delivery experience in waste-to-energy, power generation, or chemical industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability and willingness to travel 50-70% of the time across the region.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Niagara Falls, NY.
- ASME/QRO certification preferred or ability to achieve within 12 months.
