What you will do
- Drive IP sourcing strategy, including benchmarking and evaluation of third-party IP solutions.
- Lead technical engagements with suppliers, defining requirements and aligning design goals.
- Advise Procurement on commercial negotiations through cost modeling and technical trade-off analysis.
- Manage supplier performance, relationships, and escalations throughout the program lifecycle.
- Own financial tracking, forecasting, and decision support for IP licensing activities.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and internal governance processes.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 9+ years of experience in semiconductor development (design, verification, or systems).
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects or programs in a technical environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to operate across technical and non-technical domains with a systems-level perspective.
Nice to have
- Experience with third-party IP sourcing, evaluation, or integration in SoC development.
- Familiarity with licensing concepts and participation in contract negotiations.
- Experience with cost modeling, financial analysis, or budgeting.
