Principal Engineer, IP Program Management - CCS (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Manage IP programs end to end for complex custom processors and CCS products.
• Align business-unit IP requirements with internal and external IP roadmaps, offerings, models, and data.
• Coordinate IP licensing and acquisition, including associated collateral.
• Work with suppliers, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on costs, schedules, quality, and strategic sourcing decisions.
• Ensure IP validation plans and reports meet qualification and customer requirements.
• Lead IP reviews, checkpoints, issue resolution, and continuous quality improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 5–10 years of related experience, or a master’s degree/PhD with 3–5 years of experience; equivalent professional experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 5 years of semiconductor-industry program management or related experience.
• Strong leadership, time management, organizational, cross-functional management, communication, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build trust, manage expectations, drive alignment, communicate complex technical concepts, and make decisions aligned with strategic and customer requirements.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled technology and software is required; applicants may be subject to a U.S. export license review.

Nice to have

• Technical experience in custom processor development, including design, validation, test, or quality.
• Experience working with customers, external partners, or technology vendors in semiconductor or related hardware contexts.
• Experience with IP or technologies used in modern SoC designs.
