What you will do
- Drive government and national security business development and sales in Japan.
- Build and execute capture plans for strategic high-value customers.
- Co-develop proposals for RFPs, RFIs, and tenders in complex environments.
- Engage proactively with Defence and Intelligence stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to forecast and monitor go-to-market programs.
- Represent the company at conferences and public speaking engagements.
Requirements
- 15+ years of direct government industry experience, with at least 10 years in Defence & National Security and solutions selling.
- Must be willing to undergo Japan security clearance process equivalent to US Active Top Secret.
- Must be based in or prepared to relocate to Tokyo.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Experience with Japan Government, Japan MoD, and foreign government Security Assistance/FMS activities.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 25-50%).
Nice to have
- Existing Japan security clearance equivalent to US Active Top Secret.
- Understanding of ITAR and FMS processes.
- Experience in Earth Imagery or GEOINT markets.
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline or Analysis and Strategy.
