What you will do

• Oversee the qualification of manufacturing processes for new products and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and develop a team of Manufacturing Technicians and Engineers to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
• Define and document manufacturing procedures, operation sequences, and work instructions.
• Lead the evaluation, justification, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and automation cells.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and operations to resolve process issues.
• Ensure manufacturability of designs through drawing reviews and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Phoenix/Gilbert, AZ.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information (U.S. Person status).
• At least 8 years of engineering or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of direct management experience.
• Experience with manufacturing circuit card assemblies and sensitive electronics.
• Knowledge of IPC and NASA standards for circuit card assembly manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or Lean Certification.
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating SMT machines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
