What you will do
- Oversee the qualification of manufacturing processes for new products and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and develop a team of Manufacturing Technicians and Engineers to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
- Define and document manufacturing procedures, operation sequences, and work instructions.
- Lead the evaluation, justification, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and automation cells.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and operations to resolve process issues.
- Ensure manufacturability of designs through drawing reviews and technical mentorship.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Phoenix/Gilbert, AZ.
- Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information (U.S. Person status).
- At least 8 years of engineering or operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of direct management experience.
- Experience with manufacturing circuit card assemblies and sensitive electronics.
- Knowledge of IPC and NASA standards for circuit card assembly manufacturing.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma or Lean Certification.
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating SMT machines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
