What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Technicians to ensure peak equipment reliability and safety.
- Oversee preventative maintenance (PM) programs, ensuring scheduling effectiveness and minimal production disruption.
- Prioritize and drive rapid, root-cause-based recovery actions for line-down situations.
- Ensure all operations adhere to FDA, ISO 13485, and other medical device regulatory standards.
- Manage department budgets and collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering to optimize spare parts inventory.
- Develop and revise SOPs to strengthen maintenance consistency and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management required.
- 10+ years of operations maintenance experience with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven success managing modern maintenance systems such as CMMS tools.
- Deep understanding of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and Lean methodologies.
- Must be able to work on-site in Orange County, CA.
